Eckhard Cordes says that Smart will not fold but may look for a partner to help weather the losses. It does look like the forMore small SUV that was slated for the North American market will be stillborn. Cordes was asked how many models does Smart need. His reply; ""The Mini shows that one model can work." Doesn't look good for forMore. Americans will probably have to get their Smarts from Zap, the aftermarket company that is importing them, for a bit longer than expected.
