773,422 men, women and children walked through Cobo Hall during the 2005 North American International Auto Show. While the number is down nearly 35,000 from last year's attendance the public days were cut from ten to nine. So this year's daily attendance averaged 85,935 while last year averaged 80,883 a day. So 2005 indeed is a successful one with unprecedented media coverage culminating in today's NBC broadcast.
