So you think you can skirt the law by boozing and cruising under the influence of Listerine? Well not in Adrian, Michigan where 50-year-old Carol Ries was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor. She had downed three glasses (we won't even hazard a guess on what size glasses either) of the mouthwash. Listerine of course has an alcohol volume of 26.9 percent but this is the first we've heard of it involved in a drunk driving incident. Ries passed one breathalyzer test but cops thought "there was something not quite right about her." Even if she had been lucid there's something not quite right with anyone who downs three glasses of Listerine. It's safe to guess she had the best smelling breath of anyone in the drunk tank.
