The Kuraza concept looked less like Mother Hubbard's boot from it's earlier sketch and more like the people mover Infiniti probably envisioned. What works are the six doors. That's a great way to solve the problem of getting people easily into a third row of seats. What I don't understand is the need for these internal spines. They may look neat but if you're trying to build something for utility it would cut down on the option of turning the Kuraza into a flat-bed hauler when needed. You never want to say never but we all know this will never, never be produced. But adding six-doors to an SUV should be top priority on everyone's list. Click through for more pictures.

D'OH! I thought that silverish thing was some stupid door handle like they always done on the Pathfinders. Thanks Geoff!

From the photos, the interior is really nicely done. The exterior has something bothersome. Why does it make me think of a big fat bloated Mini Cooper?

You say spine. I say child partition...can I get that thing to go all the way to the top?

I'll guess that we see somthing quite similar to this go into production (minus the "spine"). As you point out, the 6 door idea is quite a good one. I second your opinion that the spine cuts down on the usefulness. But imagine it without the spine, and it's, well, a good idea.

Don't get me wrong here... you guys been doing a really beautiful job covering so much but could you get a better picture of the 6 doors on this bloated Mini? I am having a hard time seeing or figuring it out.

With a new Pathfinder out, maybe this is the next QX4?

I think the Mini Cooper look comes from the different colored roof. The grille has that rounded shape too. I think you're dead on though - bloated Mini.

You rock! This is like being at the show going car to car. I live in Windsor,ON and usually go a minimum of 3 times to the NAIAS every year as friends come in from Toronto, and with my local friends and family. I can relate to everything you are saying about being tired as it just wears you down. The Kuraza does look better in real photos and I look forward to seeing it in person. I agree that the sixth door idea should be implemented as there is a need to easier access to the rear of large SUVs. The center tunnel would be nice for passenger comfort, but it takes away from the overall usefullness of the vehicle. Maybe they can put a diaper changing station on that "spine"... parents would rejoice! Jeff
