GM showed a concept of the Trailblazer SS at the SEMA show way back in 2002, and the street version is ready for 2006. Appearing sometime during the 2005 auto show schedule, the production Trailblazer SS will look pretty much like these undisguised photos. Click on the pictures for bigger images. The Trailblazer SS will be powered by a 6.0 liter V-8, and I?m betting on the version that has found itself in the SSR for ?05 (The SSR and Trailblazer share the same basic chassis) generating around 350 - 400 hp. The SS has been lowered, riding on the same aggressive set up as the new SAAB 9-7x. It has been accented with what appear to be 19/20 inch wheels that mimic the Silverado SS wheels.

Much of the family resemblance has been kept from the Silverado SS like mesh grillwork, front brake cooling ducts and body colored everything. A large squarish exhaust tip finishes off the rear. It seems that Chevy has gone with a single exhaust tip out the passenger side.
