Six European automobile manufacturers, including Volkawagen, Audi, BMW, DaimlerChrysler, Fiat and Renault, are launching a campaign to set up a wireless network between vehicles on the road. This car-to-car network, would allow vehicles to communicate with surrounding vehicles, and relay warnings to motorists. Sounds like an expanded version of something like the reverse warning system that can be found on many cars today, except the car is picking up signals from the other cars around it. Very cool.

Thanks for the tip, Martin.
