The 'Baby McLaren,' a followup to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, has been put on hold while MB conducts a full review of the company's future product strategy. Apparently, every single all-new car at Mercedes-Benz is under the microscope, and the coming McLaren/Mercedes-Benz offering has been especially affected because it is considered a niche car. So perhaps all is not lost and there is hope they will doing something about making the coming CLS500 look better. Okay, so maybe I'm just dreaming about the last statement, but I certainly would not complain about seeing another joint offering from McLaren and Mercedes.
