Update: Meek has sent a link for the recall listed here. It does sound like less of a problem since it wasn't a test strictly for the front airbag. I'm not sure if you'd still need a front air bag in the type of side collision that was tested. That would be my big question. The link here shows a PDF of the fix for Honda mechanics. It's kind of cool. I like how the first step is to write down the customers radio presets. I guess that's good service.  - DT


Just as we were discussing Honda's declining air of quality comes the news that the Japanese automaker will recall over a quarter of a million 2004 and 2005 Accords due to driver's air bags that may tear increasing the risk of injury. This is all according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of course.
