Chrysler added the final press release today confirming that all three domestic manufacturers will beef up efforts to make stability control standard across many model lines. Chrysler stated that this larger push will start for the 2006 model year.

GM is adding standard stability control on 1.8 million vehicles in the 2005 model year including the Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche and Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and Buick Rainier.

Ford will be adding standard stability control on over 500,000 vehicles in the summer of 2005 which includes the Explorer, Mountaineer, Aviator and Navigator.
