When AutoWeek slalom-tested a Chevy Malibu Maxx they received a call from On-Star to check on the driver's health. The car detected a sudden move, no collision, no air bag deployment, just a slalom test. They needed to explain to On-Star that everything was fine and at this time they felt, "what else do they know I'm doing?" AutoWeek's paranoia began to grow and hence this article about "black boxes" in the cars we buy now. Some scary stuff.
