Inventories are growing and GM and Ford are working to get them under control. Ford has been closing plants for weeks to bring down the inventories of the Focus and Ranger. As the story states, the Suburban and old versions of the Venture/Montana minivans have almost a four month supply sitting. Overcapacity and old product are contributing to this situation.
