Ford OKs the Focus Vignale concept for Europe
Expected for introduction as a 2007 model, the Ford Focus Vignale has gotten life through a contract with Pininfarina. The convertible Focus will be built at the Pininfarina factory in Turin and will feature a folding hardtop. In all seriousness, this was the best looking Focus I'd ever seen, and once again North America gets denied.

On the first look at the side of the car - feels like a blatant copy of the Audi A4 Cabriolet.

What does this say on how Ford perceives the American consumer? Just give them any type of box and they'll drive it? Okay, Jason, you're right, it looks like the Audi but still, look at the rest of Fords line up- eg.: the new 500- and this thing looks great! Wonder why the boys at Dam.-Chrys. are enjoying the profits and Ford isn't- good design, something that Ford isn't giving one of it's biggest markets- us.

Ford wants to beat VW/audi, and they are pulling out all the stops to do it... but in Europe only. what gives?
