This does. The Brat body is on the receiving end of an apparent full STi engine and interior swap, although there's no word on whether the Brat's traditional ultra-hazardous jump seats in the pickup bed were preserved. It's certainly not much of a sleeper in World Rally Blue with those UK-market wheels and exposed FMIC. Plenty of pictures in the link below document the transformation.

Edit: Link is now fixed.

As the owner of this car it cracks me up that there are so many comments on the performance ( or lack thereof) of this ute.

      >Great, too much power on a chassis ill equipped to handle it. Kind of like NASCAR? Or Formula One? There's no such thing as "too much power". Until you can instantly accelerate to any desired speed, you can always use more power. It's not like the Brat couldn't acclerate past its ability to corner before these mods. It's just easier now. :)

When someone takes on a project, they usually see it through. This was a huge project and I'm glad to see it done. I think it looks great!

Was curious about suspension differential swap and difficulty . I aquired an 87 brat and my daughter wants to build it. I was interested in installing late model fi motor and drivetrain. Maybe not as wild as sti but like outback , legacy etc. Any help appreciated. thanks, tom
