The Paris Auto Show is winding down and it's time to set our sites on the next big automotive event. SEMA is only a few months away and one of the first bit of news concerning the show is the launch of a new division of Cosworth Technology. Long a leader in engine work, Cosworth will launch "Powerworks" specifically for the aftermarket tuners. The next six months will see two new systems with the first, for the 2.0 liter Zetec engine in the Ford Focus, debuting at SEMA in November. The supercharger system will boost the 130 horsepower in a stock Focus to 220 horsepower. Monster power will soon be available for light trucks and more as the company plans to release a few different supercharger systems each year under the Powerworks name.
