After finding an electrical problem with engine cooling fans that could lead to overheating, Volvo has voluntarily chosen to reel in pretty much every car it made between 1999 and 2001. It's the largest recall in the company's history. Affected models include the S60, S80, V70 and XC70, and the repair involves changing out the entire cooling fan assembly. There's no specific figure for how much this will cost Volvo, but their stock immediately declined after news of the recall was announced yesterday.
