In trying to address the sales discrepancy between themselves and BMW and Mercedes, Lexus is about to embark on a substantial product push involving the replacement of all their sedans. There's solid consumer interest in the RX400h hybrid SUV, which has no direct competition anywhere, but Lexus plans redesigns pretty much everywhere else to try to surpass recent offerings from Acura, Mercedes, BMW, Infiniti and Jaguar. The GS series (pictured) will be redesigned for spring 2005, the "entry-level Lex" IS 300 will be revamped for the fall, and 2006 will bring a redone ES330 and all-new LS430.
