The National Biodiesel Board is amped about DaimlerChrysler's decision touse biodiesel in the factory fill-up for the new Liberty diesels, one of the first highly-efficient diesels to have a go at the U.S. market. More than 400 fleets nationwide already use the nontoxic, biodegradable fuel, including all four military branches, NASA, and the U.S. Postal Service. 300 retail filling stations presently carry biodiesel, but the number should increase as more vehicles capable of using the fuel are introduced.
