Honda states that 158,187 TSXs will be recalled in Japan, the United States and 39 other countries in order to remedy some unfortunate light issues. Specifically, tape used to seal wiring running to rear lamps is faulty, subsequently causing failure in the rear lamps themselves, subsequently causing motorists following behind TSXs to not know when said TSXs are stopping, subsequently causing rear-end collisions, whiplash, insurance payouts, and general discomfort. It's conjectured that about 40,000 of the TSXs could be affected, although no injuries have been reported as of right this second. My suggestion to Honda? Try something a little more substantial than tape— like asbestos.
