We kid about the whining but it seems finally someone is paying attention to the faults with the EPA's rating of fuel efficiency. But according to U.S. News & World Reports it wasn't until a top administrator at the EPA itself noticed her own Toyota Prius underperforming the sticker numbers her agency is attached to. Everyone expel a collective Homer Simpson "Doh!"

Margo Oge, said EPA administrator, reports her Prius gets 44 mpg not the advertised average of 55 mpg, but she still loves it. However, she does say, "We need to give more realistic information about fuel economy." Give it to us straight Margo.
