When I was a kid visiting my dad in California, he took me to a classic car dealership. I recognized most of the vehicles as Fords, Chevys etc. But my dad was checking out one car I had never seen before. It had these bizarre lines and two fixed headlights with a large grill-less front. My father explained to me this was an Avanti and he was very impressed with the selection this dealership had. Instead of buying just one Avanti someone out there could buy the whole company. Some lucky bidder will win the rights to own the company during a October 1st auction. Anyone want to pool their paychecks and buy a car company?
