The poorly reviewed Saturn Ion will go to the parts bin of the new Chevy Cobalt for much of its 2005 updates. Included in the piracy will be "fundamental electronics and steering" from the Cobalt. Thankfully the changes don't stop there. A new front fascia and larger steering wheel will also be put into place. The larger questions is, can Saturn quality and fit and finish in the new Ion match those of the competitors?
