Sometimes when wading through the myriad car reviews that materialize daily it's good to get a perspective from a different source, i.e., not from a mainstream auto magazine. Well Robert Farago is a freelance automotive journalist, and his page The Truth About Cars presents just such a welcome viewpoint. The item currently dominating the site is the Scion xB, to which he gives his fullest attention. Farago finds that the car/van/rolling cinderblock devoid of power, but packed to the proverbial gills with attitude and fun. It's clear that Farago is not a fan of the xB's design, but that doesn't stop him from taking its stylistic choices seriously and analyzing what makes the vehicle successful.
