The Saturn Relay, set for a January 2005 release, will attempt to make the case for American people movers, as more than 40 percent of minivan buyers currently go non-domestic. The styling is simple and more elegant than most other Saturns, and the quality is carried over to the interior as well, with the manifold luxury features (leather, interchangeable overhead console, etc.) that minivan buyers flip their lids over. While Saturn wishfully calls the relay a "crossover sport van", but they can't deny its heritage, as it shares many parts with the Chevy Uplander and Buick Terraza minivans. The Relay will pack a seemingly-wimpy 200-hp V6, but Saturn is going for refinement over sheer raw force. We'll have to wait for the Relay Redline for more power.
