Although it looks like it was caught in a terrible fire, the ragged coupe you see before you is actually an '06 Maserati Spyder prototype. It's built on a modified Quattroporte platform and will expose scalp to air via retractable hardtop roof. The probable engine bay-dweller upon release will be a 5.0-liter V8 pumping 470 horsepower. No word on whether the duct tape graphics kit will be standard equipment. Photo copyright Brenda Priddy from TheCarConnection.com.
